TubExperto vs NoteGPT: One Credit, One Use, No Double Quotas
NoteGPT no longer sells "summarize your YouTube videos". Its headline today is "Your AI Agent for Work & Growth" (notegpt.io, direct fetch, 26 Sep 2026), with eleven features that range from summarizing videos to writing documents and generating slides, images, audio and video. YouTube is one feature out of eleven, not the front door.
That changes the comparison at its root: NoteGPT competes on being the agent that "does the work for you", spread across many directions. TubExperto does one thing and goes deep: it turns the YouTube channel you follow into an expert that knows all of it, with exact citations and memory.
Comparison table

The double-quota problem, with a real case
The most quotable complaint about NoteGPT is not ours: it is a real Trustpilot review, with a rating and a date, which you can read yourself. NoteGPT has 2.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot (verified 26 Sep 2026), a notably low score for the category.
The documented case, with a name: Nhan Ly paid for the "Unlimited" plan and almost immediately got an "Insufficient Basic Quota" error. Instead of an apology, NoteGPT support replied on 8 May 2026 that it was his fault for "continuously consuming large amounts of resources in a very short period of time".
The underlying pattern, according to its own pricing page: the "Unlimited" plan gives unlimited Basic Quotas, but "Premium Credits" (the currency that actually limits almost everything you generate) have a cap, even on the plan called "unlimited". TubExperto does not split things into two currencies: a credit is a credit, and what it costs is documented plan by plan on the pricing page.
What NoteGPT does well
It has real named testimonials on its homepage ("NoteGPT transformed my study routine. It summarizes lectures, makes flashcards, and gives instant writing feedback", Emily Johnson, verified 26 Sep 2026) and an aggressive SEO strategy with dozens of pages by search intent (/youtube-video-summarizer, /youtube-transcript-generator, /video-summarizer for uploading your own files of up to 5 GB). If you want an AI Swiss Army knife for office tasks, and YouTube analysis is just one of several things you want to solve with the same tool, it competes for real there.
One of its pages deserves a mention of its own: /youtube-subscriptions, titled "Summarize YouTube Channels & Subscriptions Instantly". What it promises, by its own text, is to automatically summarize each new video of a channel separately as it is published, not a persistent, cumulative expert with memory and cross-video citation. It is channel tracking, not a channel that "knows" what it has said.
Two gaps NoteGPT admits itself
In its own FAQ, verbatim (notegpt.io/faq, 26 Sep 2026): to the question "Can I make notes during video conferences?" it answers "NoteGPT does not support you to make notes during video conferences. However, this feature is planned"; and to "Can I collaborate with others using NoteGPT?", "NoteGPT does not support collaboration with other users. However, this feature is planned". Two product gaps, stated by them.
When to pick NoteGPT over TubExperto
If you need a single tool for many different AI tasks (writing, generating images, transcribing audio and, along the way, summarizing the odd video), and you are willing to accept the double-quota system, NoteGPT covers more ground than TubExperto, which does not generate documents or images.
When to pick TubExperto
When what you want is not to "summarize each new video separately" but an expert that remembers EVERYTHING the channel has said, cites the exact second and can be compared with other experts in a debate panel. That is not on NoteGPT's list of eleven features.
