Choose Your Hardest Opponent

Jordan B Peterson

Summary

Jordan Peterson explores the concept of 'wrestling with God,' defining it as the process of actively engaging with the highest possible aims and facing life's inherent complexities. He argues that human life requires faith and sacrifice, where one must move beyond infantile security to pursue an adventurous, purposeful path. By aligning individual goals with broader communal good and higher moral orders, Peterson suggests individuals can transform their struggles into meaningful progress and lasting impact.
