The SpaceX IPO
Benjamin Cowen
Summary
The analyst discusses the recent SpaceX IPO, comparing its market performance to other successful companies led by Elon Musk, such as Tesla. He explains that while IPOs often experience a short-term price surge followed by a pullback due to profit-taking and market volatility, high-quality companies with strong leadership usually overcome these corrections. He warns that investors should expect potential drawdowns in the second half of the year, particularly due to historical midterm-year trends, but emphasizes that long-term investors should not bet against Musk's ability to drive profitability.
