Everyone Is Wrong About China and AI Safety — Sebastian Mallaby Explains
Tim Ferriss
Resumen
Sebastian Mallaby explains why Western perceptions of China’s approach to AI safety are fundamentally flawed. He suggests that, much like the nuclear non-proliferation agreements of the Cold War, the U.S. and China should prioritize diplomatic collaboration over purely restrictive strategies, specifically regarding the control of dangerous, open-weight AI models.
